Community
Core4 is our online insight community where Channel 4 connects with and gets feedback direct from viewers. Core4 is Channel 4’s inner circle – an exclusive space where you can shake things up behind the scenes.
You’ll have the chance to share your weird and wonderful thoughts on our shows, ads and topics. Nothing’s off limits.
We’ll drop you an invite to surveys and activities on topics which we’d like your thoughts on.
New activities go live each week, but everything is optional – do what works for you! We try to ensure that you’re only invited to things that may be relevant to you.
New research activities will be available every week. Invites to new activities are sent via email to your registered email address.
Rewards
Yes! Your opinions are important to us at Channel 4, so as well as feel good vibes for supporting us, you’ll be rewarded for getting involved by:
Points: Earned for key activities – the amount varies depending on the ask and effort needed.
Points can be redeemed for vouchers from a list of 100 highstreet brands, charities and experience, including: Pick from a wide range of brands, including: Mastercard Virtual, Tesco, M&S, ASOS, John Lewis, Sephora, PlayStation, Just Eat, Costa and Odeon.
Prize draws: Run each month – there are over 100 prizes up for grabs: 1 x 10,000 points (£100 value) and 100 x 500 points (£5 value). Points get allocated to your account and can be redeemed for high street gift vouchers of your choice.
Impacting decision making at Channel 4: Your ideas and feedback are delivered direct to Channel 4 – we’ll let you know how your collective feedback is being used and the impact made!

Activities
New activities will appear on your homepage as they go live. We'll also send you email invites. Just click the homepage tile or the email link to have your say!
No, all activities are optional. Although the more you get involved, the more perks you unlock. There are points to earn (redeemable for gift vouchers), prize draw entries to gain (100+ prizes up for grabs each month) and awards like badges and community kudos on offer too.
It varies by survey, the topic and what type of feedback we’d like. Surveys tend to take 3-15 minutes to complete. For each survey we invite you to, we’ll let you know the topic, length, what you need to do and how you’ll be rewarded.
Data
The summarised overall responses that you and other Core4 members share with us will be used by Channel 4 to help us improve our products and services. Your personal details will never be passed to anyone outside of Channel 4.
Yes. You can close your account via your ‘Profile’ page or you can reach us at moderator@panel.economist.com. Our team responds within 24 hours on business days.

You can stop being a Core4 member easily, at any time, by closing your account. Simply log in, head to your Profile (via View Your Profile or the top-right menu) and click ‘Close account’. Or you can email us at hello@core4.channel4.com.
Your points only exist on the Core4 community - you must redeem before account closure to avoid losing any points accrued. If your account is closed for any reason (e.g. inactivity, rule breach, or you close your account yourself), you will lose your Core4 points.
